(“PMI”) (NYSE/Euronext Paris: PM) today is recognized as a global leader in its action on climate change. For the third consecutive year, the company is on the CDP’s ‘Climate A List’ for taking comprehensive action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change, and for its transparent disclosure process. CDP, formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, is the leading international not-for-profit organization assessing the work of companies worldwide in the area of climate change. Thousands of businesses submit annual climate disclosures to CDP for independent assessment against its scoring methodology. PMI’s ranking places the company among the top 9% of corporations, known as “A Listers.” CDP’s Climate Change benchmark report is produced at the request of 827 investors with assets of US$100 trillion. Commenting on the results, PMI’s Head of Environmental Sustainability, Andy Harrop, said: “We’re very pleased to be included on the CDP A List again, and remain dedicated to playing our part in limiting global warming. Building on the reduction of 200,000 tons of CO2 since 2010 across our operations, and our continued action to promote sustainable tobacco production and environmental improvements across our value chain, next year we will announce a suite of new targets based directly on climate science.” “PMI encourages strong action on climate change and supported an ambitious outcome to COP21 in Paris last December. With the Paris Agreement now entering into force, we look forward to working with others in facing the challenges and opportunities of climate change mitigation and adaptation.” The Climate A List is released today in CDP’s report, Out of the starting blocks: Tracking progress on corporate climate action, which establishes the baseline for corporate climate action and recognizes that global corporations have started the transition towards a low-carbon economy, with some already capitalizing on the opportunities this affords. Companies’ progress on reducing greenhouse gas emissions is in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement and will be tracked against this baseline in future annual reports.

I have the original Pax, which I love, as well as the Volcano for about six months. I recently bought the Crafty and the Pax 2 and I can say that the Pax 2 is a great improvement over the original Pax. The original Pax is a fine device but the size, battery life, temperature control, ease of cleaning and vapor quality are all better on the new and improved Pax 2.I have the starter kit from walgreens I'm currently still trying to see if i like it so far so good but does anyone know when the cartridges are out i have the menthol flavor in now and it seems to have a nasty burnt taste that i dnt remember having when i first started it. I usually would smoke a pack a day and its been two days and it still has good vapor. Can anyone help me please????I have the Walgreens starter pack too. All five cartridges taste the same. I can't wait for my order to come so I can see what they are really supposed to taste like. Mine all taste like cherry, and my friend who got the starter pack said hers all tasted like coffee. Maybe they should pack these different if they are going to sit on the shelf for a while. I love my Blu!I have to agree with Joanna up above, I really appreciate the orange tip on the South Beach Smoke ecig. Also, plenty of vapor production makes it seem like the real thing.

Drug and Alcohol Dependence Volume 177 , 1 August 2017, Pages 268-276 Reward-related frontostriatal activity and smoking behavior among adolescents in treatment for smoking cessation Author links open overlay panel Kathleen A.Garrisona One of the first longitudinal fMRI studies of smoking cessation treatment in adolescents. Adolescents show increased non-drug reward-related brain activity pre- to post-treatment. Increases in reward-related brain activity were associated with smoking abstinence. Tobacco use is often initiated during adolescence and continued into adulthood despite desires to quit. A better understanding of the neural correlates of abstinence from smoking in adolescents may inform more effective smoking cessation interventions. Neural reward systems are implicated in tobacco use disorder, and adolescent smokers have shown reduced reward-related ventral striatal activation related to increased smoking. The current study evaluated nondrug reward anticipation in adolescent smokers using a monetary incentive delay task in fMRI pre- and post- smoking cessation treatment (n = 14). This study tested how changes in neural responses to reward anticipation pre- to post-treatment were related to reduced smoking. An exploratory analysis in a larger sample of adolescents with only pre-treatment fMRI (n = 28) evaluated how neural responses to reward anticipation were related to behavioral inhibition and behavioral activation scales. Adolescent smokers showed pre- to post-treatment increases in reward anticipation-related activity in the bilateral nucleus accumbens and insula, and medial prefrontal cortex, and greater increases in reward anticipation-related activity were correlated with larger percent days of smoking abstinence during treatment.
